Chairman’s challenge although competitive and difficult was also extremely fun and till this day one of the best camps I’ve ever been on.
Some of the most memorable moments where when one of our patrol members fell of the raft in the most flamboyant way possible during the race. As well as having to constantly balance out the raft like a seesaw because our barrel placement was horrible… (still came second place though)
But being on the raft wasn’t the only fun factor on this challenge, it was the night time activity’s after being on the raft that really made this camp special as not only did we make some excellent food for the cooking competition but we where also able to have a lot of free time afterwards and do different fun activities like playing darts, ping pong and poker… which not to flex but I won.
Finally the last couple of hours of the night before my patrol went to bed a scouter one other patrol member and myself stayed up watching someone make mac and cheese on a fir for 3 hours. And although it may seem boring it was one of the funniest and memorable nights for me, as we chirped and encouraged this Mac and cheese warrior to finish his creation, talked nonsense around the fire and drank hot chocolate we made some really good unforgettable memories.
So to conclude I hope that we not only get to go on this camp again but to also make as many new awesome memories as we did I on this camp.
PS: The Mac and cheese was delicious
